From 1-31 December, Bangkok Trading Post Bistro & Deli, the hotel’s all-day dining outpost, will be serving a special festive a la carte menu. Tempt your palate with starters such as Pan-seared Scallops with cauliflower, vanilla mousse and apple; Smoked Salmon Roll filled with avocado; or Pan-seared Foie Gras with Mixed Berried on brioche. For mains, the choices include Pan-seared Atlantic Salmon with sautéed zucchini, beetroot mash and passion fruit foam; Grilled Beef Tenderloin with ratatouille. Parsnip mash and truffle sauce; Organic Veal Stroganoff with artisanal tagliatelle in a tomato and bell pepper sauce; Organic Pork Belly braised in pineapple and for spices jus with asparagus and sautéed wild mushrooms, and more to put you in the festive spirit. Finish your meal on a sweet note with the indulgent Christmas Berry Mousse with cherry coulis and chocolate mint ice cream.
On Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve, the chefs wow you with exceptional three-course dinners priced at THB 1,520++ and THB 2,020++ respectively. Expect dishes such as Free-range Chicken Breast stuffed with nduja and artisanal Thai cheese; Pan-seared with Exotic Fruits; Crustacean Salad of fresh shrimps and crab meat with citrus and avocado; Tiger Prawn Risotto; Free-range Roast Duck Breast marinated in red pepper hibiscus sauce. Both days feature live entertainment.
Begin the new year with a sumptuous brunch for THB 2,220++. Or, continue last night’s celebrations with the Buffet and free-flow sparkling and wine option for THB 5,920++. Indulge yourself with seasonal favourites Roast free-range Turkey with traditional condiments, Honey-Glazed Ham, Roast leg of Lamb, premium oysters and fresh seafood, assorted pastas made-to-order, a selection of local artisanal cold cuts and cheese, and delectable desserts.
Up on Level 27, the hotel’s fine-dining restaurant, Nimitr offers a number of gourmet experiences paired to stunning views of the city skyline. On Christmas Eve, guests can enjoy on a lavish buffet with live entertainment and gueridon service for THB 3,520++. Begin your feast with on Crab Meat Salad with tomato salsa and spicy dressing; Pan-seared Foie Gras with caramelised apple coulis and a shiraz wine reduction; or a Wagyu Beef Carpaccio with yuzu kosho Chantilly, garlic chips and ponzu aspic. The mains include Salmon Wellington with mashed potato, asparagus and creamy dill sauce and Honey-glazed Ham and Roasted Turkey served with Sloane’s smoked sausage, vegetable kebab, traditional trimmings and cranberry sauce. The desserts range from Panettone Mocha, Orange & Black Forest Cake Log, Christmas Cookies to Crepes Suzette prepared tableside and served with berries and vanilla ice-cream.
On New Year’s Eve, guests opt for the seven-course gala dinner at THB 6,020++, that includes a DJ, violinist and saxophonist providing live entertainment. The dinner with wine pairing is priced at THB 8,520++, and the whole package of New Year’s Dinner and Countdown Party, including a bottle of premium vodka or Champagne is ticketed at THB9,020++.
The seven-course gala dinner includes a starter of blue fin otoro tuna with blue crab meat, Hokkaido scallop and butterfly pea sauce, a Chicken Consommé infused with aka miso and organic onsen egg, and a main dish of Grilled Organic Japanese Kumamoto Beef with morel mushrooms, caramelized onions, edamame beans, smoked eggplant and madeira reduction.
